DESCRIPTIONS


MONDAYS:


Program: Muffin and Bread Baking (K-2) $421
Description: What’s better than a sugary blueberry muffin or Focaccia herb bread? In this class
we will also prepare fruity oat muffins, monkey bread, Happy carrot muffins, brown sugar quick
bread, corn muffins, banana bread and so much more!


Program: Basketball/Kickball (K-2) $226
Description: Fundamentals of basketball will be taught through training stations in the first
portion of the course. Passing, shooting and dribbling will be some of the training focuses. After
the instructional period is over, each day will end with a good old fashion basketball game. At
the beginning of class; we will remind the students of safety and good sportsmanship. Kickball
will be the focus of the second half of the course.


Program: Magic (K-2) $429
Description: Have your child learn the amazing art of magic! Charles Hallock aka The Great
Charlini has be performing and teaching magic for over twenty years. Your child will learn not
just the secrets of magic tricks but how to perform these feats with confidence and passion. This
is what the “real magic” is about :) Every class will focus on learning new magic effects but also
on building the principles of what takes to entertain and grow as a young performer. Please note
this is the same class as last semester so do not sign up if you have already taken it.


Program: Intro to Fashion Design (K-2) $452
Description: If your child loves fashion, don’t miss this class! Learn key drawing techniques to fully realize your own sense of style. Using paper, colored pencils, and fabrics, participants will explore the
traditional and the edgy, pushing their boundaries to explore the many aesthetics in the fashion
world. This class was created by international designer, Liza Cruz, bringing global design
expertise to the classroom.


Program: Chess Club (1-5) $351
Description: Chess Wizards is a premier chess education company providing fun, informative
and challenging chess lessons to students. Chess Wizards teaches children many important life
concepts, such as learning the ability to win graciously and accept defeat with dignity and
sportsmanship. Students will be divided into groups according to their chess experience. At the
end of this session, each student would have had the chance to participate in a mini-chess
tournament.


TUESDAYS:


Program: Science of Nature, Animals, and Energy (K-2) $439
Description: Explore the natural world and its adaptations. Observe creepy crawly bugs, make
casts of animal tracks & study the feeding habits of owls. Some of the weekly topics in this
session are: Bugs, Earthworks, Walloping Weather, Mission Nutrition, Life in the Sea, The Birds
& the Beasts, Earth Awareness, Nature and The Science of Sport! -then- Is your energy
potential or kinetic? Find out with us as we explore centrifugal force & gyroscopes. Become a
junior engineer and experiment with axles, pulleys, levers, gears and wheels. Some of the
weekly topics in this session are: Harnessing Heat, Mad Science Machines, Mad Magnets,
Super Structures, Under Pressure, “Current” Events, Lights…Color…Action! Watts Up, Energy
Burst & Fun-damental Forces.


Program: Golf/Tennis/Pickleball (K-2) $546
Description: TGA makes it convenient and fun for your child to learn and play golf and tennis
and pickleball right on their school campus! Our curriculums were specially designed by
industry-leading golf and tennis professionals and education specialists to ensure that the
lesson plans are age-appropriate and easy to understand and retain. Students will experience a
mix of golf and tennis as well as pickleball instruction, rules and etiquette lessons, educational
components, character development lessons and physical activity as they advance through the
five-level program. TGA provides all equipment.


Program: Moveable Machines (K-2) $507
Description: Is your child fascinated by all things that go “vroom?” If so, Moveable Machines is
for them. Focusing on simple and compound machines that can generate power and motion
without using electricity, this course provides space for students to explore their need for speed
in a safe, controlled environment. Throughout the course, students will build their own
helicopters, cars, gliders, and more – paired with instruction that will help them understand how
and why they move. By testing and remodeling these creations, Moveable Machines students
will also get a chance to flex their creative muscles and discover their own sense of invention.


Program: Fun with Mixed Arts by Plaster Palace (1-5) $488
Description: Enjoy creating mosaic picture frames, pottery painting: mugs, plates, piggy banks,
making slime and painting on the canvas with slime!! Super fun class to use creativity and to
make unique keepsakes like a plate with your own handprint.


Program: Make your own Stuffed Animals (2-5) $371
Description: Join Ms. Soza to learn how to crochet and use those basic skills to create your
own Wooble Creations! Not only does crafting help develop fine motor skills, nurture creativity,
and increase students’ patience and problem-solving skills, it’s also a really fun hobby! We will
use Wooble crochet kits to create our projects, and students will be able to keep all of their
creations, and the tools and patterns to create more on their own as well.

WEDNESDAYS:


Program: Art Jumble (K-2) $490
Description: Push your child's creativity and open up their own unique ideas to collaborate and
inspire one another. Students will use a wide variety of materials such as acrylic paints, water
color, Oil & Chalk Pastels, Colored Pencils, paper, fabrics, clay, Pipe cleaners, yarn, wood
material and more. Projects will vary from week to week, driven by feedback from the group.


Program: International Dance (K-2) $338
Description: Explore different cultures from around the world through music and dance with
Steffi Nossen School of Dance! Using creative movement games and improvisation, students
will try many traditional dances from Flamenco to African to Bollywood. You don't need a
passport for this class, just a sense of adventure and openness to try new things.


Program: Gaga/Dodgeball (3-5) $245
Description: This F.A.S.T. Athletics combination class will feature 30 minutes of Gaga. The
other 30 minutes will be spent playing everyone's favorite gym class game, DODGEBALL!
Each class will include warm-up games as well as learning basic skills of each sport and finish
with a fun team game.


Program: Mini Makerspace (K-2) $473
Description: Join Ms. Volpi and Ms. Rago for all the fun of makerspace geared toward younger
students. Students explore their inner maker and learn to apply the design process with
Cardboard Creations, Keva Planks, Woodworking, Circuitry, 3D Design & Printing, Magnetism,
Robotics & Coding, Sewing and more. In the MakerSpace Club, children are encouraged to take
risks, try new strategies, explore materials and embrace their imagination.


Program: Fun with Science (K-2) $439
Description: Put on your lab coats and your safety glasses, iCAMP’s Fun with Science course
is a broad introduction to core scientific concepts for young learners. Throughout the course,
students will learn more about the chemical reactions, molecules, atoms, and physics that
define the world around them. Through experimentation and discovery, they will learn to relate
these sometimes challenging concepts to their own real-life experiences. Experiments like
self-inflating baking soda and vinegar balloons and mini volcanos encased in lemons will teach
them that incredible scientific discoveries wait around every corner, if they just know where to
look.


THURSDAYS:


Program: Gaga/Dodgeball (K-2) $283
Description: This F.A.S.T. Athletics combination class will feature 30 minutes of Gaga. The

Program: Space Travel Island (K-4) $546
Challenge Island is a one-of-a-kind enrichment program on the cutting edge of
STEAM education. Students visit ‘islands’ where they work together in STEAM
TeamsTM brainstorming, creating, testing, learning and having a HUGE amount of
fun! Each class is active, interactive, exciting and totally hands-on and
encourages students to collaborate, communicate, think critically and build
their creative skills. Take a STEAMTASTIC journey through
the universe, visiting planets and galaxies, joining along with astronauts tackling
space aliens and experience & engineer some out-of-this-world innovations.


Program: Storytime and Crafts (K-2) $351
Description: Join Ms. Soza for an afternoon of stories and crafts! Each week we’ll read some
awesome stories, and create a matching craft project for students to take home. From
non-fiction to fiction, paper bag puppets to holiday decorations; young readers will have a blast
reading, learning and playing together! Stories and crafts will be different last semester so
students can participate in both semesters.

Description: Calling all dessert and chocolate lovers! Let’s put on our aprons and prepare
delicious apple oat cookies, gooey chocolate chip cookie cake, scrumptious doughnut & muffins,
irresistible oreo truffles and gorgeous chocolate blossom cookies. YUM, oh YUM! All recipes will
be creative, fun and we even have some surprise recipes along the way! Recipes will be
different from last semester so students can participate in both semesters.

 

FRIDAYS:


Program: Slime/Painting (K-2) $452
Description: This is a hybrid class, combining Creative Painting and Slime Art. Each week
classes will fluctuate between a focus on one or the other. During Painting classes, young artists
will be able to express themselves by learning and practicing techniques designed to nurture
their creative spirit and teach them how to paint. Separately, Slime has been known to be a
source of stress relief, and also allows kids to unleash their imagination through the countless
potential variations. while allowing us to explore sensory and learn about various textures.
Honest Art’s slime classes are all about creating slime experiences that will broaden their
understanding of colors, textures and smells through a wide variety of slime making and, of
course, PLAYING!

delicious apple oat cookies, gooey chocolate chip cookie cake, scrumptious doughnut & muffins,

be creative, fun and we even have some surprise recipes along the way! Recipes will be
different from last semester so students can participate in both semesters.


Program: Martial Arts (K-2) $343
Description: Learn how to kick, jump, and move like a true Ninja in this amazing martial arts
and self defense class. In this exciting program your child will become both physically and
mentally stronger, developing confidence, discipline, respect, and self-control. Taught by a
certified 3rd degree black belt with many years of teaching experience, your child will learn how
to safely bully proof themselves with proper self-defense techniques. In this awesome martial
arts class there will be board breaking days where your child will learn striking and kicking
techniques which they will use to break real wood boards!


Program: Makerspace (3-5) $437
Description: Join Ms. Boyer and Ms. Volpi as students explore their inner maker and learn to
apply the design process to their work. Learning opportunities present themselves through
multiple mediums such as: Cardboard Creations, Keva Planks, Woodworking, Circuitry, 3D
Design & Printing, Magnetism, Robotics & Coding, Sewing and more. In the MakerSpace Club,
children are encouraged to take risks, try new strategies, explore materials and embrace their
imagination.


Program: Multi-Sport (K-2) $226
Description: F.A.S.T. Athletics will offer a variety of sports each week such as: Soccer,
Baseball, Basketball, Dodgeball, Gaga, and Kickball. Each class will include warm-up games as
well as learning basic skills of each sport and finish with a fun team game.
