Get Involved — Volunteer!

Thanks to our amazing Heathcote parent volunteers, the PTA is able to offer enrichment programs and events throughout the year, including the School Picnic, After School Clubs, Book Fair, Visiting Authors, Multicultural Events, the School Play and the Spring Fair. 

As we look to the year ahead, we invite you to explore new ways to get involved. Without your help, none of this is possible! Volunteering with the Heathcote PTA is a great way to meet new people in our community, and your children love seeing you in school. Plus, it's fun – we promise! 

There are a range of opportunities:

• Husky Parent Helpers: This new initiative is perfect for parents with a high desire to serve but not much time. Fill out this short form to join. You will be added to a Husky Parent Helpers WhatsApp group and receive notifications throughout the year when we need short-term volunteer help.
  
  
• Liaisons to Community Organizations and district-wide committees with the Parent Teacher Council (PTC), specific needs: PTC Budget Study, PTC District Lunch Liaison, PTC Sports Swap Liaison, and PTC Sustainability Liaison.  Share your interest in the General Parent Volunteer Form.  You can review all volunteer roles here.
