HEATHCOTE PTA PROGRAMS AND EVENTS 

The following PTA programs and fundraisers occur at various times throughout the year and are promoted in the weekly Heathcote e-blast email (our weekly online newsletter that keeps all our families informed about important events, programs, and school news).

After School Clubs: After school enrichment programs in a wide-range of disciplines, exposing children to science, art, fitness, performing arts, and many other wonderful activities.

Book Fair: Fundraiser for kids and parents.

Class Parents: Coordination of group of parents who act as liaisons between teachers and parents, communicating important information from classroom happenings, field trips, and other programs.

Community Service: Projects that raise awareness of ways to help others in our local community - and beyond.

Family Fun Night: Mid-Winter event designed for kids and their parents.

Family Picnic: Kicks off the school year in September welcoming new and returning families.

Fifth Grade Activities: Numerous programs including evening Halloween party, special spirit wear, yearbook, field day activities, and others.

Garden: Cultivate a community of green thumbs and a generation of kids who understand and appreciate where their food comes from and has the knowledge and passion to grow it themselves!

Health and Wellness Committee: Parents with a mission to promote habits and awareness that support the physical, social and emotional health and wellbeing of our students.

Heathcote Spirit Wear Sales: Variety of clothing and accessories with Heathcote logo and designs.

Kindergarten Parent Social: September event designed for our new young families. 

Learning From Our Differences: Events to build awareness about people’s abilities and backgrounds to help our kids become compassionate, inclusive individuals.

Multicultural Commitee: Celebrating Heathcote's vast worldly cultures.

Other FUNdraisers: In addition, we host events to benefit the Heathcote PTA such as Holiday pie sales.

Pizza Lunch: Pre-order 1, 2, 3, or 4 slices for your child on specific PTA pizza days.

School Play: Winter Play featuring our very own students.

School Supply Orders: Order your grade's school supply lists. 

Spring Fair/Carnival: Games, Food, Raffles & more! 

Staff Appreciation Week: Many events honoring our teachers and staff.

Student Artwork Fundraiser: Order professionally silkscreened items with your child's artwork.

Sustainability/Green Initiatives: Doing our part to save the planet and live healthier.

Visiting Author: Brings several well-known children’s authors and illustrators to school throughout the year.
