Heathcote Community Service

The Community Service Committee's goal is to raise awareness among students and their families of the many needs of those less fortunate in our local community and the world beyond. It is our hope that increased empathy will create a Heathcote community of “givers.”

We plan to work with a host of partners including but not limited to 914 Cares, Children's Hope Chest, Mott Haven Fridge, and Pleasantville Cottages. Our programs will have Heathcote students and families participating in a variety of outreach efforts, many tied to major school events and seasonal holidays such as the September Back-to-School Picnic and the School Fair in May. All programs share the goal of getting students involved in and excited about helping others.

If you have any questions or suggested partners, please contact Heathcote Community Service Chairs Rebecca Dobres & Lindsay Kalish.
