Rise & Read!

Join us for Rise & Read, a fantastic opportunity for parents and caregivers to get a view inside in your child's school environment and have quality reading time with them in the school library before the school day begins. All are welcome, and we hope the early hours provide working caregivers with an opportunity to participate in the school community!

Program Highlights

When: The first Friday of every month, from 8:00 - 8:35 AM, October through June

Where: School library. Please park in the front parking lot and enter through the security entrance.

Who: Open to 15 families per month, on a first-come, first-served basis.

How to Register

Registration through Open Forms will begin on September 21st and will remain open for the remainder of the school year. Each family may register for ONE month only at this time to ensure everyone has a chance to participate. If your preferred month is full, please join the waitlist for the month.

Important Guidelines

Cancellations: If you’ve registered but cannot attend, please email Whitney Miller and Lavvina Teckchandani by 7:00 AM on the day of the event. This will allow us to offer the spot to another family and reschedule your participation for a different month.

Supervision: Parents/guardians are required to stay with their children until school starts. This is not a drop-off program.

Reading Material: There will be a selection of books on a cart in the school library available to choose from. Kindly return books to the designated cart at the end of the reading session.

Departure: At the end of the session, parents/guardians should exit through the door across from the auditorium and may not accompany children to their classrooms.
